Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support. We help families with children under five with practical and confidential support.

Slide 2

Being a parent can be lonely, frustrating and overwhelming. Home-Start is there for families when they need it the most, because childhood can't wait.

Slide 3

Welcome to Home-Start Corby

Home-Start Corby is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under the age of 5. Allowing for special circumstances to extend this age in line with project agreements.
Volunteers offer regular visits, befriending and practical help to families in their own homes, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.
Because childhood can’t wait’.

We work in partnership with multiple agencies across the borough, such as Citizen Advice Bureau, Corby Library, Willow Place, Safer Corby Team among many others. This ensures that volunteers can access support for children and families quickly, giving families choice and access to a wide range of services that they benefit their children and build on their strengths as a family.

*These are embedded within Corby, and we welcome new partners where relevant*

“Working with the Home-Start team has been and is a really positive experience and it fits with our Community Plan. We value the important work the team does, has done and will continue to do in our community of Kingswood and Hazel Leys in Corby. We understand that working together in our community has a much more positive and greater impact.” George Hill, Chairperson, KHL Big Local
